Penny has been helping small businesses for two years and is already one of the leading finance providers in its space. Our aim is to help small businesses thrive, whilst giving them the best experience ever with Penny. Nominated for multiple awards, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our fantastic UK-based team and help grow our sales & partnership function from the ground up.
The role
While technology is at the frontline of what we do, so are our people. The experience we offer to our customers & partners is very important to us. In this position you will frequently be the first point of call whilst they enter into our ecosystem.
Actively develop partner & broker relationships to drive origination revenue
Manage broker & partner relationships
Create growth plans collaboratively in order to grow revenue quarter on quarter
Analyse internal data to build sales pipeline
Record and use software to timeline of relationships
Work closely with internal service colleagues to ensure smooth transaction

Key Attributes
Proven sales track record in alternative finance
Relationship building and account management skills
Strong relationships with key introducers of new business
Working understanding of invoice finance and the market
